Before purchasing your ticket or making your travel plans, please carefully read through the GBIF Travel Guidelines.

Bring a laptop computer. Both wireless and wired internet access will be available. We will be using DIVA-GIS and ESRI GIS software, so a PC or a Mac with a Pentium processor is needed. These programs require the Windows XP or 2000 operating system.

Before attending, download DIVA-GIS to your computer. We will give you an evaluation copy of ArcView 9.1 to install, so you will need the administrative password for your computer.
